Full-Stack Web Development Engineer (JAVA/Angular) M/F
Job description
You will join the Cloud-Native Application unit, which develops and maintains cloud-native applications in the following areas: scientific computing, information systems and image processing chains.
With a staff of around 30, divided into project teams of 3 to 7 people, our customers range from start-ups (TWELV, UBleam, etc.) to major aeronautics accounts (Airbus, Thales, etc.), as well as public (AGEDI, ONF, VNF, etc.) and European (UN) companies.
Main stacks: Python, Java/SpringBoot, ReactJS / Angular, DevOps tools.
In this position, you will work on various cloud-native projects as a Java web developer. You'll be part of an Agile project team, supported by Magellium experts.
Depending on your availability, you will start on :
- A project for an inter-communal syndicate for which we are carrying out a complete technological overhaul of their software for managing assemblies, land registry, accounting, invoicing, payroll, etc.
- Aprecision agriculture project (a processing chain to support cereal crop management using near-infrared band processing of Sentinel 2 images).
- A technical redesign project for a drilling data management / display / annotation tool.
A job as a C-Napps developer means :
- Participate in application design and development (fullstack)
- Participate in code reviews and tests
- Take an interest in design practices, clean code, how things work...
- Working as a team, supporting each other, learning, teaching, ...
- Talking to your customer on a daily basis
Profile required
With a degree (Bac+5) in IT, you have significant experience (at least 4 years) in JAVA/Spring Boot/Angular/Hibernate web development.
You have a :
- Knowledge of best practices in software development and architecture (knowledge of a few classics would be a plus: Clean Code, Refactoring, Pragmatic Programmer, etc.).
- Minimum software factory skills (Git, Maven/Gradle, ...)... If needed, we'll train you on the rest (K8S, DevOps, ...)
- Good oral and written expression (" What is well conceived is clearly stated, and the words to say it come easily ").
- Come to work with pleasure in the morning!
The position is available at our premises in the Canal Technology Park in Ramonville Saint-Agne. Our premises are accessible by bicycle and metro.
Ideally, we would like to start work on the position by the end of summer 2025.

Do you hire trainees?
Yes, we hire end-of-study internships. These internships can then develop into permanent contracts (50% of internships transformed into permanent contracts by 2023).
Do you take on work-study students?
We can take on work-study students subject to availability of places and the company/school rhythm, as some projects are not always compatible with a work-study rhythm.

How long is the trial period for an engineer?
The trial period is 4 months. This period may be renewed in certain situations, but not systematically.
Will I be provided with a work computer?
Yes, when you arrive you'll be provided with a workstation complete with monitor, PC, keyboard and mouse. Office supplies will also be at your disposal.
Is remote work possible?
Our company agreement provides for the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week. Remote working is possible as soon as the trial period has been validated and provided the project allows it (for example, this is not the case for defense projects for reasons of confidentiality).
