A flourishing CSR policy
Thanks to our CSR team, we are able to implement concrete, meaningful actions that enable the company to enhance the value of its employees and have a positive impact on our society.
Improving to stay in tune with the challenges facing our society
" We have defined our strategic orientations in terms of areas of improvement for responsible governance.
In addition to the technical skills of our employees, our wealth is also based on intergenerational transmission, multicultural exchanges and inclusion. Respect for the principles of non-discrimination and equal access to employment is a fundamental value of the Group!
Our businesses also require us to be as close as possible to our customers, and we make it a point of honor to safeguard their interests by applying rigorous business ethics on the part of our management and employees.
Aware that every activity has an environmental impact, we are committed to managing our activities responsibly and strive to minimise our impact."
- Pierre Duverneuil, President of Magellium Artal Group
"We are convinced that well-being in the workplace is a state of mind to be built, developed and nurtured within the Group."
- Pierre Duverneuil, President of Magellium Artal Group

A committed company
Job manager
Our recruitment process is, of course, objective and honest, with respect for the principles of personal data protection and support from a consultant during the hiring process. We also fight against concealed work by evaluating suppliers and subcontractors beforehand. Finally, with an average age of 36, seniors (over 55) represent 16.3% of our group.
Integration of people with disabilities
We are expanding our job opportunities on Agefiph and offering staff training in accommodating neuroatypical employees. Our premises are adapted for people with disabilities.
Prevention of psychosocial risks
To fight harassment in all its forms (psychological, gender-based, sexual), we have appointed a harassment advisor within our company.
Raising awareness of eco-actions
We have put in place environmental principles that are respected by all our staff, such as: systematically switching off equipment, using a mug instead of a plastic cup, selectively sorting waste, encouraging the use of environmentally-friendly transport, limiting business travel, and so on.
In 2023, we carried out a carbon assessment via Diag' DĂ©carbon'action, supported by L'Effet de Faire. As a result: our GHG balance is 1072t of CO2 for the year 2022. With the aim of reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 5% a year, we have implemented concrete actions divided into 5 themes.
Responsible digital practices
From a digital point of view, we are keen to apply responsible practices when we know that the Internet would be the 3rd biggest consumer of electricity in the world if it were a country! To this end, we have, among other things, extended the lifespan of our equipment, simplified our IT systems to reduce the number of physical servers, set the temperature of our data center at 24° and set up an internal instant messaging system. Increasingly important, since 2023, 10 employees have benefited from eco-design training.
Promoting soft transport
20% of our employees use bicycles and 25% use public transport. We encourage the use of environmentally-friendly means of transport, in particular through the introduction of a bicycle mileage allowance, an open bicycle park and the availability of a washroom and changing rooms.
What does this mean in practical terms?
Sustainable Development Week
We organised our first Sustainable Development Week in September 2023. We wanted to make all our staff aware of the European event, which aims to raise awareness and share knowledge about ecology and the planet.
The program includes a workshop on ecogestures for Courbevoie, a biodiversity observation walk for Toulouse, and simple but essential challenges (carbon footprint calculation, 0 cardboard cups, seasonal cooking, etc.) to be carried out every day!
Pink October and Movember
We support these causes and decided to give them visibility with an in-house poster campaign describing the cause and the various numbers to know to talk about it. For pink October, we took part in the Ligue contre le cancer du sein operation by making "Coussins-cœurs", cushions for women who have recently undergone surgery to relieve post-operative pain. 25 cushions were made from 100% cotton fabric. Whether beginners or professionals, the aim was to exchange ideas in a spirit of good humor and motivation. The cushions were then donated to the Ligue contre le cancer.
The Climate Fresk
Sixteen employees took up the challenge and created two climate murals. Although most of them are already aware of climate issues through their work, this activity gave them the opportunity to develop and consolidate their knowledge, strengthen team spirit and further raise questions about environmental issues and climate change.
Our expertise in meeting environmental challenges: we benefit from European recognition and are developing collaborations with scientific laboratories. We take part in projects for European space and environmental agencies, such as CNES and ESA's project to estimate the Earth system's energy imbalance using space data, or the Copernicus operational service to determine snow and ice cover on behalf of the European Environment Agency.
AESCD - Sponsorship of skills
AESCD is a French association with two major objectives. The first is to promote solidarity and exchanges with certain populations in Niger, particularly in the fields of education, training, women's and children's health, access to water and sanitation, respect for the environment and food safety, among others.
The second objective is to participate in the life of the local community and develop educational, information and entertainment activities.
One of our staff members took part in a geographic information system (GIS) project for the rural commune of Dankassari.
Financial sponsorship
Magellium Artal Group supports the ENSG Foundation and LIFTI through donations.
The ENSG Geomatics Foundation supports students, teachers and researchers at the ENSG (Ecole Nationale des Sciences GĂ©omatiques) to promote the field of geomatics and support quality recruitment. Magellium Artal Group attaches great importance to the philanthropic network that fosters the search for sustainable solutions and is committed to sustainable development and solidarity projects.
The Laboratoire d'Initiatives Foncières et Territoriales Innovantes (LIFTI) seeks to identify the issues raised by a lack of understanding of land (climate change, biodiversity loss, soil preservation, redefining tomorrow's habitat...). In addition, Magellium Artal Group tends to support LIFTI because of the common values it shares with the company, such as transversality, benevolence, respect, listening and working together.
