Job description
Dans le cadre de ses activités en Observation de la Terre, Magellium intervient dans des grands programmes portés par les agences spatiales ou opérationnelles. Ces projets d’observation de la Terre mettent en œuvre des chaînes de traitements scientifiques des charges utiles à bord des satellites.
Ces chaînes de traitement, prototypes ou opérationnelles, sont développées en vue d’une intégration dans les segments sol des missions satellitaires. La spécificité de ces traitements réside dans la maîtrise conjuguée des techniques scientifiques ou algorithmiques de télédétection et de l’ingénierie, méthodologique, organisationnelle et informatique, des chaînes de traitements dans un environnement souvent contraint par la robustesse et la performance.
Nous recrutons un ingénieur développeur au sein du pôle segments sol d’Observation de la Terre.
Vous débuterez sur un des projets pour un organisme européen dont l’objectif est de mesurer la quantité de dioxyde de carbone (CO2) libéré dans l’atmosphère à cause de l’activité anthropique. Ces mesures sont obtenues à partir des données satellitaires traitées par les modules logiciels que nous développons.
Vous travaillerez sur le projet au sein d’une équipe de 2 à 5 personnes.
À ce titre, vos missions principales incluront :
- La participation aux phases de 😮 Définition de l’architecture et de conception (analyse, spécifications),
o Réalisation des algorithmes opérationnels et prototypes (développement),
o Intégration de traitements scientifiques performants dans des chaînes de traitements (optimisation) avec spécifications des tests, développement d’outils de tests et génération de données de référence, interprétation scientifique des résultats (validation).
- La rédaction de documents (rapports, bilans, spécifications, manuels, publications) et présentations orales de résultats dans un cadre projet.
Vous pourrez être amené à faire la conception et l’architecture des chaînes de traitement et/ou à participer à l’élaboration de propositions techniques dans le cadre de réponses à appels d’offres.
Profile required
De formation Ingénieur, vous justifiez d’une expérience reconnue en développement informatique.
Vous avez une bonne capacité de compréhension scientifique, notamment des algorithmes. Vous êtes passionné par le domaine spatial et disposez idéalement d’une expérience dans le domaine des segments sol spatiaux.
Vous êtes à l’aise en anglais, aussi bien à l’écrit qu’à oral. Vous pouvez ainsi lire/écrire de la documentation et discuter/présenter couramment.

- Socle de connaissances en mathématiques appliquées, en particulier en traitement du signal

Do you hire trainees?
Yes, we hire end-of-study internships. These internships can then develop into permanent contracts (50% of internships transformed into permanent contracts by 2023).
Do you take on work-study students?
We can take on work-study students subject to availability of places and the company/school rhythm, as some projects are not always compatible with a work-study rhythm.

The trial period is 4 months. This period may be renewed in certain situations, but not systematically.

Yes, when you arrive you'll be provided with a workstation complete with monitor, PC, keyboard and mouse. Office supplies will also be at your disposal.
Is remote work possible?
Our company agreement provides for the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week. Remote working is possible as soon as the trial period has been validated and provided the project allows it (for example, this is not the case for defense projects for reasons of confidentiality).
