Nous recrutons un ingénieur développeur au sein de notre pôle segments sol de notre unité Observation de la Terre.

Vous débutez sur l’un des projets phare de l’Unité qui a pour Client un organisme européen. Dans ce cadre, Magellium est à la tête d’un Consortium d’une douzaine de partenaires européens privés et institutionnels.

Chez Magellium, vous travaillez sur ce projet au sein d’une équipe d’une quinzaine de personnes. L’objectif de ce projet est de préparer les chaînes de traitement d’images qui seront acquises par une mission d’observation de la Terre qui débutera en 2026. Cette mission aura pour but de fournir aux chercheurs de nouvelles données pour mieux comprendre les dynamiques de la végétation à l’échelle globale.

As such, your main missions include :

●      Participation aux phases de :

o   développement des chaînes de traitement opérationnelles à partir de prototypes développés par des scientifiques,

o   optimisation des algorithmes, notamment dans le but de réduire les temps de traitement ou l’empreinte mémoire,

o   implémentation des tests unitaires et des procédures de validation,

o   support à l’intégration des logiciels dans le Centre de Calcul, maintenance et évolution des chaînes de traitement en phase opérationnelle,

●      Rédaction de documents (rapports, bilans, spécifications, documentation technique, publications) et présentations orales de résultats dans un cadre projet.

Vous pourrez contribuer à des activités complémentaires au projet. Vous serez amené à participer à la conception et l’architecture des chaînes de traitement et/ou à participer à l’élaboration de propositions techniques dans le cadre de réponses à appels d’offres.

Profile required

Vous justifiez d’une expérience reconnue en développement informatique supérieure ou égale à cinq ans. Vous avez une bonne capacité de compréhension des algorithmes.

Vous êtes passionné par le domaine spatial et disposez idéalement d’une expérience dans le domaine des segments sol spatiaux.

Vous avez un très bon niveau écrit et oral en anglais. Vous pouvez ainsi lire/écrire de la documentation et discuter/présenter aisément.

 

●      Compétences techniques/hard skills :

o   Compétences en programmation scientifique (Python principalement, C++ ou Matlab souhaité),

o   Maîtrise de Docker et des procédures d’intégration et de développement continus (CI/CD),

o   Socle de connaissances en mathématiques appliquées souhaité, en particulier en traitement du signal.

 

●      Compétences humaines/soft skills :

o   Goût pour les domaines scientifiques,

o   Bonne capacité d’adaptation et de montée en compétences sur de nouveaux sujets techniques,

o   Excellentes aptitudes relationnelles, sens du travail en équipe et communication claire,

o   Autonomie, sens des responsabilités et engagement.

 

●      Atouts complémentaires :

o   Connaissance des segments sols spatiaux et des méthodologies liées au cycle de vie de développement,

o   Connaissance des standards d’ingénierie (ECSS ou équivalent) et ingénierie des exigences.

Yes, we hire end-of-study internships. These internships can then develop into permanent contracts (50% of internships transformed into permanent contracts by 2023).

We can take on work-study students subject to availability of places and the company/school rhythm, as some projects are not always compatible with a work-study rhythm.

Our company agreement provides for the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week. Remote working is possible as soon as the trial period has been validated and provided the project allows it (for example, this is not the case for defense projects for reasons of confidentiality).
