Web GIS Technical Lead
Job description
At our GIS service center in Paris, you will join a dynamic team working on high-profile projects in collaboration with major public and private clients such as ENEDIS, ONF, Île-de-France Mobilités, the Paris Police Prefecture, CEA, etc.
You will be responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of web GIS solutions. You will start on a web development project in the field of network management and will subsequently work for a variety of sectors (network management, semi-public organizations, public bodies, defense, etc.).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical management of GIS projects: choice of architectures, technological directions, code review.
- Development and integration of GIS web applications (front-end and/or back-end).
- Technical supervision and support for developers.
- Ensure the technical quality of deliverables.
- Contribution to the definition of best practices.
- Participation in the scoping, estimation, and technical response phases of calls for tenders.
- Technology watch and proposal of innovative and/or high-performance solutions based on geospatial data.
Profile required
You have significant experience (5 years or more) in GIS web development.
You enjoy being involved in both design and implementation.
You want to take a leading role in the technical direction of a project.
You are curious, proactive, and interested in the geospatial ecosystem.
Required skills
- Proficiency in open source and/or ESRI web GIS technologies.
- Strong object-oriented development skills (Java and/or C#).
- Ability to design robust and scalable technical architectures.
- Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and team spirit.

Yes, we hire end-of-study internships. These internships can then develop into permanent contracts (50% of internships transformed into permanent contracts by 2023).

How long is the trial period for an engineer?
The trial period is 4 months. This period may be renewed in certain situations, but not systematically.
Will I be provided with a work computer?
Yes, when you arrive you'll be provided with a workstation complete with monitor, PC, keyboard and mouse. Office supplies will also be at your disposal.
Is remote work possible?
Our company agreement provides for the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week. Remote working is possible as soon as the trial period has been validated and provided the project allows it (for example, this is not the case for defense projects for reasons of confidentiality).
