Job description
As part of its Earth Observation activities, Magellium participates in major programs led by space agencies or operational entities. These Earth Observation projects involve the implementation ofground-based image processing segments, including payload processing chains aboard satellites.
The specificity of ground image segments lies in the combined mastery of scientific or algorithmic remote sensing techniques and engineering, methodology, organization, and IT, in an environment often constrained by robustness and performance.
L’équipe Ground Segment de l’unité Observation de la Terre recherche un responsable intégration et validation pour contribuer à projet de Segment Sol Image pour une constellation de satellites d’observation de la Terre.
En tant que responsable IVV d’un segment sol image pour l’observation de la terre, vous jouez un rôle clef dans la consolidation des exigences, la définition de la stratégie d’intégration et de validation du segment et vous prendrez part activement à cette intégration et validation.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Contribuer aux spécifications de l’Image Ground Segment d’une constellation de satellites d’observation de la terre.
- Définir la stratégie de validation fonctionnelle et technique de Image Ground Segment.
- Définir les outils, données et adapter les process pour optimiser cette validation.
- Coordonner les activités d’IVV du projet.
- Contribuer à cette IVV en prenant en charge certaines activités.

Profile required
De formation Ingénieur, vous justifiez d’une expérience reconnue (5 à 10 ans) sur des postes d’intégration, validation et vérification de système logiciel complexe. Vous êtes passionné par le domaine spatial et idéalement disposez idéalement d’une expérience dans le domaine des segments sol spatiaux.
Technical skills
- Maîtrise du métier d’intégration et validation de système logiciel en environnement industriel (Frameworks de test, gestion de configuration, CI/CD, monitoring plateforme, …)
- A l’aise avec une partie des technologies associées : Python, Gitlab, Ansible, Packer, Grafana,…
- Connaissance de l’ingénierie des exigences et des logiciels, méthode et outil pour la traçabilité.
- Pratique des environnements cloud (Cloud-native, Cloud publics et/ou privés), maîtrisant par exemple les technologies de type : Cloud Public, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, S3 Object Store, Terraform, …
- Expérience avérée en intégration logicielle et architecture distribuée.
- You are very comfortable with English, both written and spoken.
Soft skills
- Strong abilityto adaptand quickly learn new technical topics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills,teamworkskills,ability to interact withend customers.

The trial period is 4 months. This period may be renewed in certain situations, but not systematically.
Will I be provided with a work computer?
Yes, when you arrive you'll be provided with a workstation complete with monitor, PC, keyboard and mouse. Office supplies will also be at your disposal.
Is remote work possible?
Our company agreement provides for the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week. Remote working is possible as soon as the trial period has been validated and provided the project allows it (for example, this is not the case for defense projects for reasons of confidentiality).
