Accounting Manager (M/F)
Job description
We are looking for our future Accounting Manager to help structure our finance department, lead the accounting team, and actively contribute to the modernization of our tools and processes.
Initially, you will be required to assist the team with accounting tasks.
Your main responsibilities:
- Oversee general and cost accounting, manage monthly and annual closings, and serve as the point of contact for the certified public accountant and the independent auditors.
- Work with the management accounting department on the monthly financial statements.
- Ensure the accounting integration of acquired entities.
- Oversee tax filings, monitor regulatory developments, and assist with specific matters (tax credits, mergers, etc.).
- Participate in the financial reporting process.
- Supervise, train, and develop the accounting team’s skills.
- Lead a transformation project: assess existing processes, oversee the transition to digital workflows, automate repetitive tasks, develop dashboards, and support the team through these changes.
Profile required
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance (DSCG, Master CCA, or equivalent) and have at least 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years at a growing small or medium-sized business. You are well-versed in French accounting standards and have experience with accounting challenges in multi-entity and international settings (within Europe).
Given the group's international focus, a working knowledge of English is expected.
You have a strong interest in digital transformation and external growth initiatives.
Knowledge of the SAGE framework would be a plus.
In addition to your technical skills, you are recognized for your leadership, your ability to come up with new ideas, your attention to detail, your ability to bring a team together, and your desire to drive change in practices.

Yes, we hire end-of-study internships. These internships can then develop into permanent contracts (50% of internships transformed into permanent contracts by 2023).

We can take on work-study students subject to availability of places and the company/school rhythm, as some projects are not always compatible with a work-study rhythm.

The trial period is 4 months. This period may be renewed in certain situations, but not systematically.
Will I be provided with a work computer?
Yes, when you arrive you'll be provided with a workstation complete with monitor, PC, keyboard and mouse. Office supplies will also be at your disposal.
Is remote work possible?
Our company agreement provides for the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week. Remote working is possible as soon as the trial period has been validated and provided the project allows it (for example, this is not the case for defense projects for reasons of confidentiality).
