The position
Dans le cadre d’actualisation de sa vision de la cartographie du futur, Magellium mène activement des activités de R&D dans le domaine de l’organisation et du traitement des données géographiques. Les solutions développées peuvent concerner l’acquisition, la production ou la diffusion des données et ceci dans différents formats. Les champs d’application de ces technologies sont multiples : défense, sécurité civile, cartographie…
Dans ce contexte, Magellium développe, depuis plusieurs années, différentes briques logicielles et algorithmes pour l’amélioration de la performance dans la production de données.
Vous aurez pour objectif l’étude de l’apport d’outils de l’Intelligence Artificielle dans le tri et l’optimisation de données issues d’un Data Lake afin de générer des données organisées suivant des modèles prédéfinis.
Le stage sera réalisé sur la correspondance de plusieurs export OpenStreetMap ou de données annexes pour générer des données suivant des modèles complexes structurés et normalisés de type BD TOPO ©IGN ou équivalent.
Vous serez amené(e) à participer et à être force de proposition sur le choix et les tests d’IA appropriées pour :
- Synthétiser une pile de données en entrée plus ou moins organisées,
- Généraliser les données pour passer d’une échelle à une autre (1/25000ème au 1/100000 ème par exemple),
- Appliquer des transformations de modèle complexes.
Vos contributions principales porteront sur le développement de ces algorithmes.
Ainsi, vous justifiez d’une excellente maitrise du C++ et de la bibliothèque OpenCV. Des connaissances en réseaux de neurones et Deep Learning sont un plus. Vous serez intégré(e) à l’équipe en charge des systèmes de production géographique et serez encadré(e) par les experts Magellium des domaines de l’IA et données géographiques.
Profile required
Etudiant(e) en cursus universitaire ou en Ecole d’ingénieurs préparant un diplôme de niveau Bac+5, ou un Mastère spécialisé, vous avez idéalement une spécialisation en développement Informatique ou géographie numérique.
Vous êtes curieux (se) et vous aimez les défis.
Rigueur, autonomie, sens de l’initiative et assiduité sont d’autres compétences qui vous permettront de réaliser avec succès ce stage.

Yes, we hire end-of-study internships. These internships can then develop into permanent contracts (50% of internships transformed into permanent contracts by 2023).
Do you take on work-study students?
We can take on work-study students subject to availability of places and the company/school rhythm, as some projects are not always compatible with a work-study rhythm.
What is the recruitment process at Magellium Artal Group?

How long is the trial period for an engineer?
The trial period is 4 months. This period may be renewed in certain situations, but not systematically.
Will I be provided with a work computer?
Yes, when you arrive you'll be provided with a workstation complete with monitor, PC, keyboard and mouse. Office supplies will also be at your disposal.
Is remote work possible?
Our company agreement provides for the possibility of remote work up to 2 days a week. Remote working is possible as soon as the trial period has been validated and provided the project allows it (for example, this is not the case for defense projects for reasons of confidentiality).
