Attending the Living Planet Symposium for the second time

The Earth Observation unit of theMagellium Artal Group participated in ESA’s 2022 Living Planet Symposium. Itwas an honor to participate forthe second time. We had a total of 27 papers presented and 12 oral presentations.

This conference highlights howEarth observationcontributes to science and society. Italso examines how new technologies and stakeholders are transforming the traditional landscape of this field.

One of our partners,Dr. Anny Cazenave, a scientist at CNES, gave a lecture on global sea level. A leading French space geodesist, she specializes in space oceanography. Furthermore, she is one of the pioneers of satellite altimetry. The unit is honored to work with her on numerous Earth observation projects. She was recognized at a ceremony celebrating women scientists in Earth observation. The award was presented in the presence of Luisella Giulicchi, president of Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-E).

Presentation of multiple projects

From May 23 to 27 in Bonn, Germany, our team gave numerous presentations throughout the week. Florence, Julia, Jorge, Vanessa, Chloé, Rémi, and Tristan spoke about the projects they are working on in close collaboration with our partners. GRACE, COPERNICUS Snow & Ice, FLEX, and many other projects were presented by the scientists. Visit our page to learn more about the Earth Observation Unit at Magellium Artal Group.
