A shift in governance that aligns with the group's momentum
As part of this transition following the retirement of its former executives, Pierre Duverneuil and Raphaël Giraud, David Rottembourg has now assumed the presidency of the Magellium Artal Group.
His arrival is a natural progression in the history and development of Magellium Artal Group, an engineering and services group active in the aerospace, defense and security, and industrial sectors, recognized for its scientific expertise as well as its capabilities in software and systems engineering, image processing, and geospatial data.
This structural change reflects a commitment to maintaining the momentum we have built, while preserving what makes the Magellium Artal Group so strong: the quality of its expertise, its high operational standards, and the close relationships it fosters with its clients and partners.
A proven track record in engineering

David Rottembourg
David Rottembourg, who holds a degree in mathematics and computer science from ENSEEIHT, began his career in the fields of Earth observation and geographic information systems before joining Airbus.
He then spent nine years leading Testia, a high-tech company facing challenges related to growth, innovation, and transformation similar to those of the Magellium Artal Group.
Drawing on this experience, he champions a vision of development based on team commitment, strong expertise, and the ability to harness technological advancements to deliver practical solutions.
“I want to build on what has been the strength of the Magellium Artal Group since its founding: expert and dedicated teams, a lasting relationship of trust with our clients, and a consistent ability to innovate. My ambition is to support the group’s growth with high standards, pragmatism, and a hands-on approach.”
– David Rottembourg, President and CEO of Magellium Artal Group
We wish Pierre Duverneuil and Raphaël Giraud all the best for the future and David Rottembourg every success in his new role.
